PAYMENTS & DEPOSITS
A 50% deposit of total stay secures your reservation. We accept cash and all major credit cards as payment for your deposit. We do not accept checks as payment. Remaining balances will be processed on the day of check-in with the credit card on file prior to your arrival. Any additional item/service requests made after the initial reservation will be processed for payment in advance. Service charges are applied to all dinner packages. 5% hotel tax and 6% occupancy tax applied to all lodging. 6% sales tax applied to food and retail purchases.

AGE REQUIREMENTS
The Lodge is an adult facility. If accompanied by an adult, guests 12 and older are permitted to stay. Children of all ages are welcome in our 4-6 person cabins. Guests must be 21 or older to make a reservation.

NON-SMOKING PROPERTY
Gateway Lodge maintains a strict non-smoking environment. We do not permit smoking or candle burning inside or on the balcony of the suites, rooms, or cabins.

PET-FREE FACILITY
Gateway Lodge does not permit pets in Lodge, Cabins, or on property grounds.

PERSONAL ALCOHOL/FOOD NOT PERMITTED IN COMMON AREAS
All common areas are licensed by the PA Liquor Control Board, which mandates that any alcohol consumed in the public areas of the Main Lodge must be purchased onsite. Personal food is not permitted in the Restaurant. Please contact our Guest Services Manager for special circumstances.

LIABILITY
Gateway Lodge reserves the right to charge for any damage done to the property. Damage to linens or towels resulting from use of body oils, make-up, face cleaners, etc. will result in charge for cleaning, repair, or replacement of fixtures, linens or towels. No bath products are to be used in any of our Luxury Cabin hot tubs as this will damage the tub, resulting in service fees. Loud, lewd, or vulgar behavior is not permitted. Gateway Lodge reserves the right to cancel any function or reservation if management determines that there has been a misrepresentation in the booking.

Patrons are fully responsible for any injury to any and all guests attending except those caused by the negligence of the Gateway Lodge. The hotel cannot assume responsibility for personal property and equipment brought on the premises as well as equipment, materials or personal property left in the Lodge prior to, during, or following any function.

LODGE SERVICES & RATES
Rates are for an occupancy of one or two people per night for Suites and Rooms. Two or three night minimums may apply to peak seasons or holiday weekends. Cabin rates are based on maximum occupancy stated. State and hotel taxes, service charges, bar charges, spa services are in addition to the base lodging rates.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
Check-in for rooms is from 4pm-9pm (later check-ins may be arranged in advance). Check-out is by 12pm. Check-in for cabins is from 3pm-9pm. Check-out for Cabins is by 10:30am.

HANDICAP ACCESSIBILITY
Gateway Lodge is wheelchair accessible. We have two Suites (Suite 104 and 108) that can accommodate those with disabilities. Please note that these guest suites are held for use by individuals with disabilities until all other guest rooms of that type have been rented and the accessible room requested is the only remaining room of that type. Please make your specific needs known prior to arriving so we can serve you best. We have a wheelchair accessible ramp that is in close proximity to Suites 104 and 108 and is located in our suite parking lot area.

RATES & POLICIES SUBJECT TO CHANGE
Rates and policies are subject to change without notice.

A deposit of the first night’s rate is required for a reservation. We accept VISA, MC, AMEX, and Discover.

CANCELLATIONS

1.If canceled more than 14 days prior to arrival date, we will refund your deposit less a cancellation fee of $40 per Cottage or your deposit may be retained on your account for a future stay (no cancellation fee applied).
2.If canceled within 14 days of arrival datethe deposit is non-refundable.
3.If you shorten your reserved stay, you are still responsible for the unused portion of your reservation.
4.“No-shows” will be responsible for payment in full of the entire reservation.

Three(3)-night minimum stays are required year-round: 

BALANCE IS DUE AT CHECK-IN by credit card or cash only — No checks accepted. If paying in cash, guest will be required to present a current, valid credit card upon check-in. 

CHECK-IN starts at 4:00 PM ~ Please plan your arrival appropriately.

CHECK-OUT IS NO LATER THAN 10:00 AM  Check-outs after 10:00 am will be charged a substantial fee for unauthorized late check-out.

OCCUPANCY There is a $40/night charge for an additional guest as allowed per Cabin occupancies.

Occupancy limits include children, regardless of age, and will not be exceeded for any reason. Exceeding the maximum specified occupancy violates health and fire codes, and will result in termination of your reservation without refund.

NO PETS ALLOWED on property or inside Cottages. A cleaning fee of $500.00 will be charged along with termination of rental with no refund.

NO SMOKING/VAPING inside Cottages A cleaning fee of $500.00 will be charged if there is evidence of smoking/vaping inside Cottages.

NO TENTS or additional sleeping facilities are permitted on property.

NO OVERNIGHT, UNREGISTERED VISITORS ALLOWED

ALL TOWELS, BLANKETS, & BEDDING MUST REMAIN INSIDE COTTAGE DO NOT use for cleaning, or creek, or fire pits! 

DAMAGES & CLEANING  Any unreported damages, items missing, or **excessive cleaning required after check-out will be charged to your final bill, a minimum of $100.  Each Cottage is equipped appropriately. DO NOT MIX dishes/utensils with other Cottages as additional **excessive cleaning charges will apply. Charges will be added to your final bill for unreported damages to the Cottage, Towels, Bedding, Furniture, Property, Items missing, or Excessive cleaning required after your departure. This includes, but not limited to, dirty dishes left for us to wash (if dishwasher is provided), displaced dishes/furnishings. If you move dishes or furniture, put them back where they belong!, confetti/glitter (yes, glitter!), trash & cigarette butts that have been littered outdoors.

We are not responsible for items lost or left behind but we will always do our best to recover and return items at guest’s expense.

ACCEPTANCE We reserve the right to change the Policies at any time.
